Overlooking the magnificent Red Sea and hotels, Madinat Makadi Golf Course is a significant 7,500 yards in length, making it one of the longest in the region. The course was designed by John Sanford of Sanford Golf Design and incorporates 18 hole par 72 championship, 9 hole par 3 Executive course, both built to USGA standards. Such is the quality of these courses and the clemency of the climate that they can host International championships at any level all year round. The course is designed to match the best world standards and is surrounded by residential units, lagoons and beautiful scenery. Three salt water lakes that spring from beach wells feature in the design. The clubhouse complex offers changing facilities, locker rooms . A fully stocked Pro Shop can hire out clubs, trolleys and carts as well as selling many accessories.

Whether you are a professional player or you just want to have fun, our Golf Pro are at hand to assist you in anything you may require. A Driving Range (usable dog leg- both sides) offers about 80 T-boxes and contains target greens and bunkers. Separate and challenging practice holes Par 3,4 and 5 allow beginners and advanced golfers to improve their play without going on the course. the 9 hole Par 3 Executive course is another challenge for all categories of golfers who enjoy the short game, taking about 90 minutes to play.

Guests can also enjoy the pristine, sandy beach and other facilities of the nearby Jaz Makadi Star & Spa Hotel. The hotel's private beach with access to the nearby coral reefs full of stunning marine life is readily to hand and the diving centre will introduce you to the magic of snorkeling and SCUBA diving (charged extra).
