Raffles Resort Canouan Island is located on Canouan Island in the heart of The Grenadines in the south-eastern Caribbean. The resort is set on 300 acres of a 1200-acre private estate featuring three secluded, white sand beaches, all surrounded by one of the world's largest coral reefs. The resort is set amphitheatre style around the protected bay with each of the 156 single and double-storey luxury villas offering breathtaking views.

Accomodation

Rooms and Suites: Each of the guest rooms has an area of no less than 560 square feet and all have private covered patios or terraces with comfortable lounge chairs and prime views overlooking the beach and sea.

Accommodation is either set on the Mezzanine Level, located on the top level of the resort's amphitheatre setting, or on the Orchestra Level, within the first four levels of the resort. This includes garden and ocean view rooms and suites with one, two or three bedrooms. In addition, the Personality Suites feature a private plunge pool.

Each guest room comes with its own golf cart for personal use during your stay.

Guest Rooms:
Features include: Air conditioning, ceiling fans, an array of pampering RafflesAmrita bath amenities, bathrobes and beach slippers, fully stocked refreshment bars, fresh flowers, in-room safe, satellite television, voicemail, CD players, wireless connection, working desks and separate outside entrances.

Suites: One to three -bedroom suites.
Features include: Spacious and comfortably appointed living rooms, separate bedrooms, large walk-in wardrobe, guest bathrooms and kitchenettes. Private swimming pools have also been added to the Personality Suites and all Orchestra Suites feature flat-screen televisions in the living room.

Villas: Exteriors are painted in bright Caribbean hues of orange and yellows. Interiors are decorated with custom light wood furnishings, with fretted linens on netted four-poster beds and terracotta-tiled floors with throw accent covers. Bathrooms feature separate showers and soaking tubs, double vanities and hand-painted porcelain sinks and tiles.

Facilities

Dining: Excellent selection of dining options at its European, Italian, poolside and beachside restaurants, each offering spectacular Caribbean views. The resort has seven distinct gourmet restaurants and bars offering a variety of cuisine.

Trump Club Privee: European-style gaming in an elegantly exclusive venue. Managed by Donald J Trump, features a private salon for members only.

Villa Monte Carlo: Where Trump Club Privee is located, features La Varenne, a European gourmet restaurant with stunning views and a Grand Ballroom for exclusive private functions. Law prohibits persons under the age of 18 years.

Treatment Rooms: Palapas style spa suites, all private and comfortable, are constructed of selected woods from Brazil and Guyana and built along the hillside, with striking views of the Caribbean Sea. Relax on your own private, ocean-view deck, with jacuzzi, Asian day bed and a selection of RafflesAmrita Spa teas. Morning Chi and Meditation classes available. Dining: The Spa cuisine has been created featuring a light menu, served at Godhal Beach Bar & Grill.

Golf Course: The Trump International Golf Club, which has been named 'Best Golf Course' by the Robb Report, and is home to the resort's challenging 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Jim Fazio. Offering unparalleled views of the bay, the course stretches 60 acres along the sea front, half of which is built on the flat coastal plain and the other half of which is carved out of the hillside above the bay and the resort. Golf instruction, carts and rental clubs are available.

A full range of activities, based around Canouan's miles of white sand and clear water, will be available for the sports-orientated guest. Snorkel gear, windsurfs and hydro-bikes will be available on a complimentary basis. Scuba-diving and day sails can be arranged.

Tennis: Tennis Centre at Godahl Beach will also offer four all-weather tennis courts, floodlit for night play, tennis pro shop and rental equipment.

Swimming Pool: 12,900-square-foot (1200-square-metre) freshwater swimming pool - the longest in the region, with pool bar, private palapas and spacious pool deck. A separate children's pool is also available.

Boat Excursions: Day trips can be organised to one or more of the following islands: Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Petit Tabac, Palm Island, Union Island, Petit St Vincent, Morpion, Mustique and Bequia.
