The Bernard Hunt course was named after Foxhills' most famous professional, who won no less than 30 titles on the PGA European Tour and played in 10 Ryder Cup matches. The gently undulating fairways are banked by towering pine trees, which are particularly penal for those straying off-line. Long hitters have a distinct advantage around the Bernard Hunt, as the layout measures 6,883 yards, including exicting par-4s like the 10^th and 18^th, which are comfortably in excess of 400 yards and demand two powerful strikes.
