The Club Golf D'Aro - Mas Nou was designed by architect Ramon Espinosa. It features a par 72, 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole par 3 course, both of them in the heart of nature and with spectacular views of the Costa Brava, Les Gavarres, Montseny and the Valle de La Selva.

Club Golf D'Aro - Mas Nou - is one of the older golf courses of the Costa Brava, (Platja D’Aro) is situated in "Les Gavarres" mountains, at 300 m above sea level with spectacular panoramic views of the famous Costa Brava. The course is a forest course, surrounded by pines, cork oaks and more than a thousand olives Trees. Two artificial lakes (2600 m3) complete the unique course charm.

The course at Club Golf D’Aro combines quality and beauty. Its design included flattening the slopes in the area to make sure that it did not become a course that tires players out. The variety of holes makes it into a very enjoyable course to play, and its layout calls for great accuracy from golfers, especially when driving off the tee. Most of the greens are quite large and fast.
The 6th, 14th and 15th are the most complex holes to play because of their design and the lie of the land. From the tee on the 15th you have perhaps the finest vista in the entire complex with sea views from Cape Begur to Tossa de Mar. Its raised tee makes it into a very spectacular hole. A large lake is strategically sited for the drive (a 1 iron) and the green. Although most tee shots call for accuracy and placement, the course is also very attractive for amateur players.

This course is situated in the heart of the Costa Brava, in the border of Platja D’Aro and Santa Cristina D'Aro. Make note that this part of the Costa Brava was chosen in the year 2000 as &ldqou;Best Golf Destination&ldqou; by the IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators).

Club Golf D’Aro is situated at 90 km from Barcelona, 35 km from Girona and 100 Km from the French border. The nearest Airports are Girona at 30 minutes, Barcelona Airport at 1 hour and 15 minutes and Perpignan Airport also at 1 hour and 15 minutes.
