As it is, Bauge is virtually unknown but features many great and visually striking holes framed by glorious countryside. The design makes you think hard off the tee and makes you pray before your approach shots! You'll need to play well to post a good score, although there are enough consolation pars and even a couple of birdie opportunities. The simple clubhouse adds to the charm. Easy walking but hilly in parts. Twenty five miles east of Angers or forty miles west of Tours.
